THE STORY
St. Tabitha's Auxiliary is a not-for-profit charitable effort that has been a goal from the early days of St. Tabitha's Workshop, a small Orthodox Christian textile business. While not yet an official non-profit, it has grown from the COVID-19 pandemic, where millions of fabric face masks have been requested to hold the gap between re-supplies of actual medical protective equipment and to provide basic protection for those who are unable to get masks on their own.

This budding non-profit would have not happened without the help of new friends made through the Orthodox COVID-19 Response Network, and old friends from the founder's home parish in Everson, WA. Special thanks to Irene Liu for organizational help, Carol Vien for initial sewing help, Kristin at Designs to Flourish for the logo, and the early financial backers who jumped at the opportunity to help without needing to sew! Since the inception, we've had several star seamstresses: Pam Drennan, Mat. Natalia Wooten, Heather Irwin, and the St. Katherine Orthodox Church Sisterhood in Carlsbad, CA. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!

St. Tabitha's Auxiliary was founded by Kelsey Moore, proprietor of St. Tabitha's Workshop. She lives in Houston, TX with her husband and two children, and attends St. Joseph Orthodox Church.
