Orthodox Christians Helping Others as St. Tabitha Would

Our communities often have needs for handmade goods made out of textiles, just as the people of Joppa did in the time of Christ. St. Tabitha was described in the New Testament book of Acts as someone who gave great help and comfort to her community with her textile work. Let us honor her memory and continue her works of mercy in the name of Christ, by helping our communities when needs arise.
